Terms
Terms of service.
These terms are the agreement between you and Staylist Pty Ltd (Sydney, Australia) when you use Staylist. By creating an account or running the demo, you accept them.
Last updated 14 August 2026
1. What the service does
Staylist reads photos of a short-stay property, together with any basics you provide, and returns a listing pack: a title, a summary, description blocks, a list of amenities it can see or that you told us about, neighbourhood notes, a house manual and guest message templates. You copy the text into Airbnb, Booking.com or your own site, or export the house manual as a PDF.
Staylist does not publish to booking platforms on your behalf, does not manage your calendar, pricing or guests, and is not a booking channel or a property manager.
2. Accounts
You need a verified email address to hold an account, you must be at least 16, and the details you give us must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account. One account is for one person or business — don't share credentials. Tell us at contact@staylist.company if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.
3. Acceptable use
Upload only photos you own or are licensed to use, of a property you have the right to list. Don't upload photos of people who haven't agreed to it, and don't upload anything unlawful, misleading or infringing.
Don't scrape or resell the service, don't attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits or authentication, don't probe or overload our infrastructure, don't use Staylist to produce content that misrepresents a property, and don't use it to build a competing generation service. Automated bulk use outside the features we provide is not permitted.
4. AI-generated content: review it before you publish
Listing packs are produced by an AI model reading your photos. Models make mistakes: a model can misread a room, name an amenity you don't have, miss one you do, or describe a neighbourhood loosely. Every generated pack is a draft.
You must review and correct each pack before publishing it. You are the host and you remain responsible for the accuracy of your live listing, including anything a booking platform, a consumer protection regulator or a guest expects to be true. Staylist gives no guarantee about bookings, ranking, occupancy, revenue, reviews or any other commercial outcome, and gives no guarantee that a pack complies with any particular platform's policies or local short-stay rules.
Similar properties can produce similar text, so we cannot promise your pack is unique. If a pack is unusable, regenerate it or tell us — we would rather fix the engine.
5. Who owns what
You own your photos and the property details you enter, and you own the listing packs the engine generates for you — text, house manual and messages included. Use them commercially however you like, with no attribution required. Free-tier house manual PDFs carry a small Staylist watermark; paid plans export without it.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit your photos and details for the sole purpose of generating and delivering your packs and providing support — nothing else. We own the Staylist software, brand, prompts and interface. Nothing here transfers our intellectual property to you or yours to us.
6. Plans, quotas and payment
Plans and their limits are listed on the pricing page. The free tier allows one property and three generations per month; quotas are enforced by our servers, and a regeneration counts as a generation.
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in the currency shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices exclude any taxes we are required to add. Cancel any time and you keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for; we don't pro-rate part-periods. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email, and the new price applies from your next renewal. Card details are handled by our payment processor — we never see or store them. Failed payments may pause paid features until the charge succeeds; your data stays put.
7. Availability
We work to keep Staylist available and fast, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We depend on third parties — including the AI provider — and may need to take the service down for maintenance. Features can change; we won't remove something you rely on without notice where we can avoid it.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Staylist is provided as is, and we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost profit, lost bookings, lost revenue, lost goodwill or lost data.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from the service is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD 100. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited — including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and, if you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, your mandatory local consumer rights.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in settings; that removes your properties, photos and packs on the schedule set out in the privacy policy, so export anything you want to keep first. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, abuses the engine or puts other users at risk — we will tell you why, and for anything other than serious abuse we will give you a chance to fix it. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect, and continuing to use Staylist after that means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state. If you are a consumer, this does not take away your right to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
